As a musical director, Ron has conducted staged events across the United States, Canada, Asia & Europe.  
 
Most recently he produced the music for the Opening  ( https://youtu.be/Rb5m8nT7meo?t=1630 ) and Closing ( https://youtu.be/i7e4CdS5gtk?t=1) Ceremony of Expo2020Dubai.  Before that, contracted and conducted the choir for the song "The Hard Way" on Celine Dion's recent release COURAGE.  He is also Grammy and Tony Award winner Heather Headley's music director.
 
He was the Music Director/Conductor for the San Diego Zoo's Centennial Celebration in Balboa Park, conducting a 50 piece orchestra and 100 voice choir.
 
For 9 years he was the Music Director/Conductor at The Old Globe in San Diego for their production of Dr. Suess' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS. He was also the conductor tof he LA premiere of Dr. Suess' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood starring John Larrouquette as Old Max.  Also at the Old Glode he was the Associate Conductor/Keyboard for the premier of DANCING IN THE DARK, based on the 1953 MGM movie musical The Band Wagon - Book by Douglas Carter Beene, Directed by Gary Griffin and Arranged by Eric Stern and starred Tony Nominee & Emmy Winner Scott Bakula. Before that, he was the Assistant Conductor/Keyboard for the 1st National Tour of the Tony Award winning musical HAIRSPRAY. Regional theater: A CHORUS LINE, CHICAGO, INTO THE WOODS, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, SOPHISTICATED LADIES, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, MAN OF LAMANCHA. As a vocal coach he worked with the cast of 33 VARIATIONS at the LaJolla Playhouse, Book by Moises Kaufman and starring Jayne Atkinson. He is an experienced audition pianist and accompanist having played for numerous shows, reviews, cabarets and special events including the National tours of: AIN'T TOO PROUD, BOOK OF MORMON, LEGALLY BLONDE, A CHORUS LINE, JERSEY BOYS, AVENUE Q, MOVIN' OUT, HAIRSPRAY, WICKED, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS with Norbert Leo Butz.
 
Ron enjoys working for Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment and Disney Live Entertainment as Music Producer on several projects including WORLD OF COLOR ONE and TOKYO DISNEYLAND'S 40th Anniversary Parade, FANTASMIC 2.0 at Disneyland, DISNEYLAND PARIS' 25th Anniversary parade, DISNEY STARS ON PARADE and Nighttime Castle Spectacular ILLUMINATIONS.  He was proud to have been involved with the opening  of the Shanghai Disney Resort on the nighttime spectacular IGNITE and MICKEY'S STORYBOOK EXPRESS Parade. He was also the music producer for Disneylands 60th anniversary shows WORLD OF COLOR - CELEBRATE and DISNEYLAND FOREVER. He was the Music Producer for FANTASMIC! at Tokyo DisneySea and the HAPPINESS IS HERE Parade, 35th Anniversary Parade and Nighttime Castle Spectacular CELEBRATE at Tokyo Disneyland. And also worked on ONCE UPON A TIME for Tokyo Disneyland and WORLD OF COLOR - VILLIANOUS, SEASON OF LIGHT and WINTER DREAMS at Disney California Adventure.  He has worked with Disneyland, Walt Disney World, the Walt Disney Special Events Group and Walt Disney Creative Entertainment where he was involved with the auditions, rehearsal, maintenance and vocal coach for the stage shows: Spirit of Pocahontas, Hunchback: Festival of Fools, Mickey's Main Street Sing-A-Long (which he also arranged), and Animazement-The Musical at Disneyland. He was Music Director for the Golden Mickey's and Vocal Coach for the Festival of the Lion King stage shows at the  Hong Kong Disneyland Park for its Grand Opening. 
 
As vocal contractor he contracted the choir for John Debney's score to HOCUS POSCUS 2, HOME SWEET HOME ALONE and ISN'T IT ROMANTIC . He's also working with John on his musical MY SILENT NIGHT, and arranged the choral ending to John's ABRAHAM PROJECT.
 
As a singer, Ron can be heard on recordings for radio, television, and film choirs for Hocus Pocus 2, Home Sweet Home Alone, Jungle Book (live action), Van Helsing, Matrix: Revolutions, Bruce Almighty, Amistad, Godzilla, Snow Falling on Cedars, Jurassic Park 3, Jingle All the Way, Steel, The Three Musketeers, and Miracle on 34th Street. He has worked with such composers as John Debney, John Williams, Alan Silvestri, James Newton Howard, Bruce Broughton, Joel McNeely, Don Harper and such artists as Heather Headley, Neil Patrick Harris, Yo Yo Ma, Christina Aguliar, Nora Jones, Andra Day, Lang Lang, Andrea Bocelli, Angelique Kidjo, Dick Van Dyke, Ashely Brown, Kellie Coffey, Gloria Estefan, Sheryl Crow, Judy Kuhn, Carol Burnett, Pat Boone, Helen Reddy, the Gatlin Brothers, and Harry Connick, Jr., on his Christmas album and television special When My Heart Finds Christmas. Other television credits include Picket Fences, the 1991 Citrus Bowl half-time show and two Super Bowl half-time shows. He was part of the cast for the World Premiere Concert Version of Masada-The Musical at the Shubert Theater in Los Angeles. Ron is a former member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale and Master Chorale of Orange County.
 
As an arranger, Ron has written for such companies as Expo2020Dubai, Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Walt Disney World, Premier Cruise Lines, PacifiCare, Coldwell Banker, CSK Auto, Inc., Mutual of Omaha, Huis Ten Bosch, Sesame Street Live, Sesame Place-Tokyo, the United Way, Herberger Theater Center, Hyatt Regency Casino (Thesaloniki, Greece), The Citrus Bowl half-time show, the Whittier Family Christmas Spectacular, Los Posada in San Antonio, the Master Chorale of Orange County, and the William Hall Chorale. He also has several choral arrangements in publication. He was an orchestrator for the Disney DVD/Video Lion King 1½. 
 

Ron is a seven-time Arizoni Award Nominee and winner for Best Musical Direction for Chicago and Into The Woods.
